A few of us were wearing Velo Club de VIS cycling jerseys at the VIS 2014 capstone in Paris and on #LeTourDeVIS.
Some people who didn't ride asked how they could get one. So we are considering making a new order with Scimitar Sports.
We need a minimum order of 10. Cost per jersey will be approximately £50 depending on numbers and postage. This will be cost price, we're not making any money from this activity.
- Orders must be made by 6 December;
- Place your order through our Doodle Order Page;
- We will then establish whether we have sufficient interest for a further order and determine costs;
- Payment once costs are determined by 13 December;
If we have 10 or more paid orders by then we'll send off for another batch of jerseys!
Here's a mock-up of the design - we added grey sleeves and logos of VIS related sponsors subsequently.
Jersey design is subject to change, but will be dominated by club colours and logo.
Scimitar jerseys are long sleeved with an elastic cuff. They have a quarter length zip with zip cover at the neck, three reinforced back pockets (one waterproof) and 1cm silicone on the back hem. They come in male and female cuts - "female is slightly longer at the back and tapered". Sizing is the same for both cuts - see below.
