1. The Velo Club de VIS will …

coordinate and encourage participation in the annual Le Tour de VIS ride and related activities
host a MeetUp or meetIng during IEEE VIS prior to each year’s ride(s) to brief riders and discuss cycling
publicise routes and departure times and locations to riders
wear ColorBrewer colour schemes on the road
consider ordering club cycling jerseys if we get ourselves organised

2. The Directeur Sportif – somebody with local cycling knowledge - will …

establish un Petit Boucle of between 80 and 100km for a post-VIS ride – Le Tour de VIS
find / suggest bicycle rental shops in the VIScinity
make this information available to riders (here, through Strava, etc.)

3. Les Randonneurs – those who want to participate within these terms - will …

acquire a suitable bike (or bikes) for cycling through own initiative and at own cost - decent road bikes for Le Tour de VIS, city bikes for Le Prologue
attend the pre-ride meeting or MeetUp at VIS
arrive at le Depart for Le Tour de VIS in good time on the day of the ride - ready to leave at the publicised time
be properly equipped and prepared for a day in the saddle
be capable of completing the route at the agreed pace - 20 kmh / 15 mph for Le Tour de VIS - so that everybody has fun and nobody misses their evening flights
ride responsibly and be responsible for their safety and safe return
